About Project

Moreana- based KS Oils is one of India’s leading edible oil companies that was looking for an image makeover with a major financial undertaking in the offing. The company didn’t get much exposure in the financial media and wasn’t perceived as an organized corporate entity which could adversely affect its positioning in the market. Beehive was brought in to establish KS Oils as a forward-looking company that could be seen as a strong investment opportunity.

What we did

The category of edible oils was promoted as a fast-growing segment and KS Oils’ history and pioneering attitude in this segment was brought to the forefront. Journalists were educated on the potential of the company and its vision for the future through research papers that outlined the opportunity. We profiled KS Oils’ leadership and within a year, the CEO was one of the most recognizable faces in the business media.

Results

The PR exercise was a great success and it was reflected in the numbers. KS Oils scrip grew 10-fold within just a year. CNBCTV 18 invited the CEO for a 23 minute discussion on edible oils in India.
